My prayers are with you. Our Blessed Mother Mary witnessed all the horrors of seeing her Son beaten, spit upon, laughed at, clothes ripped off His Body and nailed to a cross to die a slow agonizing death. The pain She endured was unspeakable, yet, She knew this was the path that lay before Her, and one day it will end and there will be more joy for us to reap and celebrate in the Risen Lord. As Christians we know God Is not a magician. We might feel at times we suffer alone, and want to have instant relief, but stay steadfast to His teachings and feel the joy and comfort that comes from other people. A smile, a shared laugh, a hug, a voice saying "how are you today?". Look outside, snow, trees, rabbits, deer and whatever else your eyes come in contact with and give thanks. You are in my prayers today.
